Kyrgyz sportsmen won 17 medals of various merits at the Asian championship on wrestling among cadets
Bishkek, July 9 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan's national team won a total of 7 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals at the Asian Championship among cadets on wrestling, which took place in Bishkek. Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic Baigazy Kenzhebaev told today during a press conference at Kabar Agency.
According to his words, 2 of them gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze on Greco-Roman wrestling and 4 gold, 1 silver on wrestling, 1 gold and 3 bronze among women.
"This is a good result for Kyrgyzstan. In our country, the wrestling is one of the most popular sports. We are pleased that our youth were able to show such good results", he said.
The Asian Championship among cadets took place in Bishkek on July 5 -8.
