For the first time Kyrgyz sportsmen took part in the Asian Karate-do Championship
Bishkek, July 20 / Kabar /. For the first time sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan took part in the Asian Karate-do Championship. Vice President of the Federation Talant Nusubaliev said today at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
He said that the competition was held in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent on July 14-18. "It was attended by 11 sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan", T. Nusubaliev said.
The head trainer of the federation Myrzabek Aliyev said that hole national team was unable to attend the competition due to lack of funds. The level of the event is very high. There only the best karatekas take part. Two Kyrgyz sportsmen took the 5th place. This is a great achievement for us, as the championship was attended by 28 countries", said M. Aliyev.
